Plastic Additives are substances that are added in small amounts during plastic manufacturing to improve the end product or to preserve it. Shehjar’s own TiTAS range antioxidants provide stabilization and protect plastics against thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and service life. They have many applications and their properties vary with the chemical structure of the additives.

• Primary antioxidants are typically phenolic based substances and act during the process or as long term heat stabilizers
• Secondary antioxidants like phosphites act initially at high temperature and shear rate protecting polymers and other additives.
